USS Fox DLG/CG-33 William M Driadon Obituary


William (Bill) "Skeeter" Driadon, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 27, while surrounded by his family. He was 71 years old. Born in Philadelphia, on February 17, 1949, to the late Stanley and Isabel Driadon, Bill was a long time Ridley Township resident. Bill was a 1967 graduate of Cardinal O'Hara who went on to earn an Associate's Degree from Pennsylvania Military College, now known as Widener University. Bill then enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served as a Signalman from 1969-1972. He was a proud Veteran of the Vietnam War who often talked about his time overseas. Bill served on the USS Fox DLG 33 from 1970-1971 two WestPac cruises.
